Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Poster revealed

The poster for the movie Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, based on the mashup book by Seth Grahame-Smith, has been revealed.

Jimmi Simpson joins Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter‎

Jimmi Simpson will be joining Ben Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, and Mary Elisabeth Winstead in the movie adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith novel, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Simpson will play Josh Speed, Lincoln’s personal assistant and close friend.

Production's just about to start, and the film will see release on June 22, 2012. Timur Bekmambetov's directing from a script adapted by the book's original author Grahame-Smith, and Tim Burton is producing.

Actors Line Up For Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

20th Century Fox Has been trying to cast Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter since November of 2010.

Orginally Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was a 2010 novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, and was released on March 2, 2010. In addition to penning the novel, Grahame-Smith also prepared a screenplay, and now Twentieth Century Fox will be bringing it to the big screen.

n March 2010 it was announced that Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (producers of 9) are currently working on the live action adaptation of this novel in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox for a possible 2012 release. Grahame-Smith himself will write the screenplay of the film adaptation. 20th Century Fox has announced a June 22, 2012 release date for the film in both regular and in 3D theaters. Adrien Brody, Josh Lucas, Timothy Olyphant, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, James D'Arcy and Benjamin Walker are among those considered for the role of young Abraham Lincoln.

Also Grahame Smith's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is also making the trip from page to screen.
